Petra is the former Programme and Operations Associate of the UNDP-GEF Global Project on ABS. She supports the implementation of the financial, operational, administrative, and selected thematic project activities to ensure the successful delivery of the project outcomes.
Petra has been working for UNDP since 2009 and in the past, she has been supporting multiple regional and global projects, such as Every Drop Matters, and for about 1,5 years has also been managing the New World Programme, supported by the Coca-Cola Foundation. Most recently, she provided operational support to four global GEF 6th National Reporting (6NR) projects implemented in 64 countries. She has extensive project management and RBM experiences, including experiences with GEF funded projects.
Before joining UNDP, she worked for International Finance Corporation (IFC) and World Bank (WB) in Slovakia. Petra supported project and portfolio management and served as Civil Society and Communication Liaison Officer and supervised implementation of decentralized Small Grants Program of the World Bank.
Petra holds a Master degree in International Relations from Economic University in Bratislava, Slovakia.
